Book signing at the exhibition this weekend!
The curator of the exhibition Tarek El Awady, PhD, will be present at the exhibition this weekend – 20, 21 and 22 April – and available to sign copies of the beautiful exhibition catalogue (price €60).
Currently Member of the Supreme Council of Egyptian Antiquities and consultant to IMG, producer of the exhibition, he has previously held posts such as director of the Museum of Antiquities and the Library of Alexandria.
But these roles only demonstrate a small part of his experience and knowledge of the art and architecture of the Old Kingdom, not to mention his extensive investment in archaeological excavations and studies.
In particular, Tarek collaborated with Zahi Hawass in the writing of the exhibition catalogue and will be available to exchange and share his passion with visitors this weekend.
– Saturday 20 April 12pm to 2pm
– Sunday 21 April 3pm to 5pm
– Monday 22 April 6pm to 8pm
